If pain, stiffness, muscle weakness, or limited mobility is keeping you from moving comfortably, Trigenics therapy may be a treatment option worth considering. At Kitsap Spine & Wellness, we offer Trigenics therapy for patients in Silverdale, WA and surrounding Kitsap County communities who are looking for a non-surgical approach to better movement, improved strength, and pain relief.

Trigenics is an advanced neurological muscle assessment, treatment, and training system designed to help improve the way the brain communicates with the body. This therapy focuses on the connection between the nervous system and the muscles, helping address movement dysfunction, muscle imbalance, and pain patterns that may be affecting your daily life.

Trigenics therapy is interactive, personalized, and designed to help restore better muscle function, mobility, and comfort.

What Is Trigenics?

Trigenics is a neuromuscular therapy that combines functional neurology, muscle activation, manual therapy, and guided movement. The goal is to help retrain the communication between your brain, nerves, and muscles so your body can move and function more efficiently.

When muscles are not receiving proper signals from the nervous system, the body may compensate in ways that lead to pain, stiffness, weakness, or restricted range of motion. Trigenics therapy is designed to help identify these patterns and improve how the muscles respond during movement.

How Trigenics Therapy Works

Trigenics works by combining multiple treatment techniques at the same time to create a stronger therapeutic effect on the nervous system. These techniques may include resisted movement, muscle nerve-sensor stimulation, and biofeedback breathing.

During treatment, the provider guides you through specific movements while applying targeted manual techniques. Because patients actively participate in the treatment, Trigenics is different from many passive therapies. You may be asked to contract, relax, or move certain muscles while the provider works with the affected area.

This process is designed to help reset muscle communication, improve strength, reduce pain, and restore better movement patterns.

Who May Benefit From Trigenics Therapy?

Trigenics therapy may be recommended for patients dealing with pain, movement limitations, muscle imbalance, or performance issues. Every patient is different, which is why our team will evaluate your symptoms, movement patterns, health history, and goals before recommending care.

Why Choose Trigenics Therapy?

Many patients seek care because they feel like stretching, rest, massage, or basic exercises have not fully corrected the problem. Trigenics takes a different approach by focusing on the relationship between the nervous system and the muscles.

Instead of only working on tight or painful tissue, Trigenics therapy is designed to improve the way your body activates, coordinates, and controls movement. This can make it a helpful option for patients who want a more targeted approach to pain relief, mobility, and muscle performance.

Benefits of Trigenics Therapy

  • Improved mobility: Trigenics may help restore better range of motion in restricted joints and muscles.
  • Pain relief: Treatment focuses on improving neuromuscular function, which may help reduce pain caused by muscle imbalance or movement dysfunction.
  • Better muscle activation: Trigenics helps retrain how the brain communicates with specific muscles.
  • Increased strength and control: Patients may notice improved muscle response, coordination, and stability.
  • Personalized treatment: Care is based on your symptoms, movement patterns, and functional goals.
  • Active patient participation: You are involved in the treatment process through guided movement and breathing.

What to Expect During Your Visit

Your visit begins with a consultation and evaluation. Our team will discuss your symptoms, review your health history, and assess how your body moves. This helps us determine whether Trigenics therapy is appropriate for your condition.

If Trigenics is recommended, your provider will guide you through targeted movements while applying specific manual therapy techniques. Treatment is customized to your comfort level and your body’s response. Many patients appreciate that Trigenics is hands-on, active, and focused on improving function, not just temporarily easing symptoms.

Trigenics for Pain, Movement, and Performance

Trigenics therapy may be helpful for people recovering from an injury, dealing with chronic pain, or trying to improve physical performance. By addressing the nervous system and muscular system together, this therapy is designed to support better movement, strength, and coordination.

Whether you want to move with less pain, improve flexibility, regain strength, or feel more confident during daily activities, Trigenics therapy may be a valuable part of your care plan.

I have been a patient of Dr. Goodman for 5+ years. His expertise in the field of chiropractic care is unmatched in my opinion. I feel that his routine monthly adjustments are key to my overall great health. At age 69 I can keep up with people half my age. He also got me through a severe neck injury with complete recovery. Taya is his front office administrative assistant, and is an amazing asset to the practice. Very cordial, and professional. Kevin

I came to Dr. Goodman after my neck pain was getting severe to a point that I can’t get out of bed. Burning pain on my neck all the way to my arms and fingers. Doc was compassionate and listened to every aches and pain. The best part is his service and he is very personable. His office feels like a home/family and I didn’t feel like I’m just another number. He made sure that every treatment I get is comfortable. I address to him that spinal decompression and laser helped alleviate my pain. He cares for his patient and understands their pain as he has personal experience as well. He even offered to text him on weekends if the pain gets bad and if I’m in need of decompression & laser. Patients and Dr’s should have a good rapport. This makes care planning and communication successful. A good relationship to your Dr will provide a healing environment in itself. Thank you Dr. Goodman, Alexia and Taya! -Claire J-

Trigenics focuses more specifically on the connection between the brain, nerves, and muscles. It may be used alongside chiropractic care to help improve muscle activation, movement control, and overall function.

No. While Trigenics may be helpful for athletes who want better movement and performance, it can also benefit everyday patients dealing with pain, stiffness, weakness, or limited mobility. The treatment is customized to your condition and activity level.

Comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely is best. Since Trigenics may involve guided movements and muscle activation, flexible clothing can make your visit easier and more comfortable.

Some patients may feel mild soreness after treatment, similar to how the body can feel after exercise or physical therapy. This can happen because muscles are being activated and retrained. Your provider can let you know what to expect based on your specific treatment plan.

Yes. Trigenics may be used as part of a broader care plan that includes chiropractic care, corrective exercises, stretching, mobility work, or other conservative therapies. Your provider will recommend the right combination of care based on your symptoms and goals.
