Our Approach to Elbow Pain Treatment
At Kitsap Spine & Wellness, treatment starts with understanding how your symptoms developed and which movements are aggravating the elbow. We may also evaluate the wrist, forearm, shoulder, neck, posture, strength, and movement patterns when those areas may be affecting how the arm functions.
Your care plan may focus on:
- Reducing elbow pain and tissue irritation
- Improving elbow, wrist, and forearm mobility
- Addressing tight or overworked forearm muscles
- Improving grip, wrist, forearm, and shoulder strength
- Correcting movement patterns that repeatedly stress the elbow
- Modifying sports, work, or exercise activities during recovery
- Gradually returning to normal gripping, lifting, and activity
- Reducing the likelihood of recurring overuse symptoms
Depending on your condition, treatment may include chiropractic care, laser therapy, exercise therapy, mobility work, soft tissue techniques, functional movement work, and activity recommendations.
Because elbow pain can sometimes occur along with broader joint or upper-extremity problems, we may also evaluate related shoulder pain or other joint pain when appropriate.
